- I don't actually have one of these modems, but I had a call from someone
- in Canada who had bought one of these modems, and also had strange problems.

- There seemed to be the same long wait before answering, but we would get
- a fax or a data connect. However, upon a data connect, the modem would
- send the string "DATA" back, and required an "ATO" command to be sent to
- the modem to make things work again. That is how USR's adaptive answering
- sequence works with Class 1 mode, but Class 2.0 should not be handled like
- that. It should report "+FDM" on data calls, immedately followed by the
- regular CONNECT nnnnn/xxxxxx message.
